LAKE WORTH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's office confirmed Friday there are two open investigations involving a teacher's assistant at the Palm Beach School for Autism.
There are allegations the assistant inappropriately touched students.
The sheriff's office started investigating these accusations last month.
The family of one of the alleged victims has hired an attorney.
As of noon Friday, the school has not released a comment.
The head of the Palm Beach School for Autism sits on WPTV's Impact 5 board.
