Palm Beach County flooding interactive map: Check our map of flooded roads

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon released a list of the flood reports it has received throughout the day.

Drivers are urged to avoid these areas.

As Lt. Tim Frith of the Florida Highway Patrol said earlier in the day, avoid driving in storm-affected areas unless absolutely necessary.

"It's just very dangerous," Frith said.

Large puddles, floods and standing water pose a real danger to drivers and their vehicles, Frith said. A vehicle immersed in too much water can shut down suddenly, posing a threat to oncoming drivers.
