Faces DUI manslaughter charge

SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has arrested a driver involved in a deadly traffic crash.

A Ford Explorer and a Honda Civic collided at the intersection of Haverhill Road and Gun Club Road on May 9th.

According to investigators, the Ford, driven by 32-year-old Mark Kamara, was traveling west on Gun Club, when it crashed into the Civic which was headed south on Haverhill and driven by 50-year-old Diana Lennard.

Lennard died at the scene.

Wednesday the sheriff's office announced it had arrested Kamara and charged him with DUI manslaughter and vehicle homicide.

Kamara suffered minor injuries in the crash. He is a former WPTV off-air employee who left the station in March.
