A man has been arrested in Alachua County in connection with the sexual battery of a child in Palm Springs, according to the village police department.
Police say the man is suspected of impregnating a 13-year-old at her residence.
The suspect, identified as Eduardo Robelo Martinez-Zaleya, was a renter at the home.
Police obtained an arrest warrant and he was taken into custody with the help of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Unit and a US Marshal's Task Force.
Martinez-Zaleya faces charges of sexual battery and impregnating a child.
