A 28-year-old woman who flew into Palm Beach International Airport from Colorado on Friday is now missing in South Florida.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Saturday night they are looking for Luz Aquino, who flew from Denver to PBIA to visit her father in West Palm Beach.

She called her father at 11 p.m, and said she had rented a car and was going to meet up with friends possibly in the Miami area.

PBSO said Aquino then called again after midnight stating she was in trouble and needed help.  She has not been heard from since.

Deputies working at PBIA last saw her at 9:15 p.m. Friday walking in the parking garage.  She told deputies that her ride did not show up.

She rented a 2015 Chrysler black 200 Limited car from Alamo Car Rental.  The tag number for the vehicle is VLW1154.

Aquino is 5 feet 5 inches, weighs 150 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and pink sneakers.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office considers Aquino to be missing and endangered.

If anyone should come into contact with her, they are urged to contact PBSO Dispatch at 688-3400 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
