Rama Gounden: 71-year-old killed in a two-vehicle crash in Loxahatchee

LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - 71-year-old Rama Gounden of Loxahatchee was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Royal Palm Beach Boulevard and 63rd Lane in Loxahatchee at about 3:40 p-m on Wednesday.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, the other three people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The PBSO said Gounden was a passenger, along with two others, in a vehicle that was stopped in traffic when the driver of a Ford F150, Seth Gatchell of Loxahatchee, failed to slow down and the crash occurred.

Official say, at the time of the crash, the weather was poor and it was raining.

Mr. Gounden transported from the scene as a trauma alert but was pronounced dead at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
