As the vehicle was overturning, both passengers were ejected from the vehicle and came to rest on the northern shoulder.
One of the passengers, Jaime B. Martinez, 20, of Okeechobee, Fla., has critical injuries. The other passenger, Jesus Alvarado, has serious injuries.
Both passengers were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. Cancino-Magana died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
