LOXAHATCHEE, Fla. - Two Seminole Ridge Community High School students had to be taken to the hospital Friday after an accident during auto shop class, according to Palm Beach County Schools Manager Owen Torres.
Emergency crews were called to the school at 10 a.m.
One student had to be flown to the St. Mary's Medical Center via Trauma Hawk. The other student was taken by ambulance to Palms West Hospital with less severe injuries.
Torres said the students were working on a vehicle in class when the accident occurred.
The school is located at 4601 Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd.
