A man was struck by a vehicle in Lantana Wednesday evening, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Captain Albert Borroto.
The incident happened at 8 p.m. near Lantana Road and Dixie Highway.
Crews arriving at the scene found a man laying in the road.
The patient was transported to a local trauma center by helicopter.
