Law enforcement across the country are making efforts with a national campaign to remind people of the dangers of drinking while boating.
This weekend Lantana police will have extra units in the waters near the Sportsman Marina today for "Operation Dry Water."
It's a national campaign that kicked off Friday.
Law enforcement hope to reduce the number of accidents and deaths related to boating under the influence during this weekend.
Officers will be on the water reminding boaters about the dangers of boating under the influence and detecting boaters who are impaired.
This campaign runs through Sunday.
