LAKE WORTH, Fla. - An attempt to gain access to a suburban Lake Worth bar led to the arrest of Roland Dumdum, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said on Monday night deputies were called to the Brian Borus Sports Bar and Irish Pub located at 7201 Lake Worth Road in reference to a shooting.
Victims and witnesses told deputies that Dumdum was denied entry after he attempted to enter the bar with a firearm and knife holstered on his side.
According to his arrest report, Dumdum returned to the area with an AR-15 assault rifle.
Deputies said that the suspect chased the victims to their vehicle and fired one round though the passenger window.
One of the victims told investigators that he was robbed at gunpoint by Dumdum.
A second victim told deputies that Dumdum chased him and fired another 19 rounds at him with the AR-15.
The victim was able to get back into the bar and call PBSO.
Dumdum, according to deputies, was located in the bar's parking lot and was taken into custody.
Deputies recovered the AR-15 assault rifle on the east side of the parking lot and recovered Dumdum's revolver under the vehicle he was found hiding behind.
Three more loaded AR-15 magazines were also found near the location where Dumdum was arrested.
Dumdum is currently being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on assault and weapons charges.
