A motorcyclist died Thursday night in a crash with a car on Lantana Road.
The wreck happened at 8:11 p.m. near the intersection with Willowood Lane.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a 2006 Suzuki, driven by Gladmon McDowell, 32, of suburban Lake Worth, Fla., was traveling eastbound on Lantana Road.
A 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse was traveling westbound on Lantana Road attempting to turn left onto Willowood Lane.
A PBSO report said as the Suzuki approached at a high rate of speed, the Eclipse turned left into its path.
This caused the front of the motorcycle to strike the passenger side rear of the Eclipse.
McDowell was ejected as a result of the collision, struck the ground and pronounced dead at the scene. PBSO said McDowell was wearing a helmet when the wreck occurred.
The driver of the Eclipse was transported to a hospital for minor injuries.
