A Lake Worth barber, who was a well-respected member of the community for more than five decades, is being remembered.
Ginny Warner, along with her brother and sister, deeply miss their father, Malcolm Cain, who cut hair in Palm Beach County for 55 years.
"I mean there have been five or six people coming up here wanting to get a haircut from dad. They (ask), 'Where is he?'" said Warner.
Warner says her dad was in the process of finding another place for his shop after a new owner took over his building on Lucerne Avenue.
But he passed away unexpectedly on May 24 after battling lung cancer.
"They think maybe from the chemo he got some infection and with his immune system down, and with it compromised, he didn't have enough to fight it," said Warner.
At 80-years-old, Cain would still go out and give free haircuts.
"He would go to one nursing home on Monday ... he would rotate his nursing homes, and he did it for the ones who could not afford. For years, he was the president of the Little League. At one point then he went on to be an umpire," said Warner.
One of Malcolm's employee's, Michelle Musgrave, describes what she misses about her boss.
"His sense of humor, his love of the shop and his customers and what he did. He was just inspirational," said Musgrave.
His daughter said, "He was just full of life a week ago, and he could run circles around you and I."
