Lake Worth area man accused of hitting his brother with a golf club

A suburban Lake Worth man was arrested Thursday after he was accused of hitting his brother with a golf club.

David Oscar Del Cueto, 25, is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond. He is facing aggravated battery charges.

Del Cueto was arrested after Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of South Military Trail in Lake Worth to reports of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they spoke to Del Cueto's brother, whose age and complete name were withheld in the arrest report.

The 23-year-old man was "noticeably upset" and bleeding from his left elbow," the deputy said.

The brother told the deputy that he had returned home from a night out when he found his brother "extremely intoxicated" and threatening "everyone inside the house." When the brother asked Del Cueto to calm down, Del Cueto refused and threatened him.

Del Cueto then grabbed a golf club and swung it in his brother's direction, hitting his left elbow. Del Cueto then ran from the house.

Del Cueto was found walking down Military Trail and was arrested. His brother was treated for a cut and a "possible broken left arm."
