Koral Ben Shimon arrested on murder, robbery and kidnapping charges

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A Greenacres woman has been arrested and charged with participating in a robbery, kidnapping murder that began in Pompano Beach and ended in suburban Lake Worth.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says that early Saturday morning December 1st Gustavo Cabral had an escort meet him at the Super 8 Motel at 2300 NE 10th St Pompano Beach.

Investigators say that motel surveillance cameras showed Koral Ben Shimon along with Jefty Joseph and Ilmart Christophe at the Motel 8 with the victim..

Deputies say that Joseph and Ilmart left the motel with the victim in the victim's car.

Ben Shimon followed  the pair and the victim in another car, they said.

Money, according to investigators, was withdrawn from two of the victims bank accounts using his ATM cards in Broward County.

They said Joseph and Ilmart drove to a house in the Indian Pines Community in suburban Lake Worth.

Deputies say that Joseph and Ilmart shot and killed Cabral in an abandoned house in the community.

Both Joseph and Ilmart were arrested on December 1st by PBSO.

 Ben Shimon told deputies that she knew that Joseph and Ilmart planned to rob the victim but did not know that they were going to kill him.

Ben Shimon has been arrested and  is being held in  the Palm Beach County Jail on robbery, kidnapping and murder charges.
