LAKE WORTH, Fla. - A man in Lake Worth has been arrested and charged with using a house for prostitution, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they were called to a house in the 200 block of South C Street to investigate a possible burglary.
When they arrived, they were told the house was used for prostitution. Witnesses said they saw people coming and going from the home at all hours of the day.
According to an arrest report, Jerry Galindo charged women $5 to bring their "date" to the house.
Investigators said that Galindo would solicit men for the prostitutes by handing out business cards to guys advertising car washing with a map on the back of the card that showed the location of the house.
Deputies said that Galindo denied being involved with prostitution and said that he did not know anything about the business cards with the maps on the back, despite living at the house.
PBSO said when Galindo was questioned by deputies he gave a false name, which he was charged for.
