Jaylen Smith, Byran Henry: Bodies found in Lake Worth canal identified by PBSO

LAKE WORTH, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has identified the bodies of two people found in two separate locations of a Lake Worth canal.

Divers pulled the bodies of 18-year-old Jaylen Smith of Delray Beach and 16-year-old Byran Henry from the E-4 canal on Thursday morning.

The body of the male was found in water south of Lake Worth Rd. near the John Prince Park softball fields, according to the sheriff's office. Another body was found in the canal less than a mile away between Second Avenue N and 10th Avenue North.

Officials at the John Prince Park location say they believe the bodies are related. PBSO has not yet confirmed if there is a connection.
