A local anti-violence group is celebrating students who want to see an end to bullying in schools or dangerous teen driving.
The International Federation of Youth Conquerors awarded three students Saturday for submitting artwork that depicted anti-violence.
Students in the Palm Beach County School district were asked to submit paintings, poems, videos of skits or any other art that promoted safe decisions.
Organizers say about 20 students submitted artwork.
The three winners were awarded $250- $1000.
Organizers say the competition helps keeps students focused on something more positive, such as creating art, while learning the dangers of bullying and dangerous teen-driving.
"They have to understand they're young. They can use their energy to do something positive in the community," said founder, Denise LaFortune.
