The teenage son and the mother of a tanker truck driver who was killed yesterday in a crash on I-95 are speaking out, reflecting on his loss.
A tire on the septic truck that 41 year-old Werner Letterman was driving blew out, causing him to lose control, according to an FHP spokesperson.
The truck crashed into a tree, leaving a young boy without a father.
"He was the main part of my life," said Werner's son Tyler Letterman.
"We're going to take it one day at a time. God has always provided. I know he'll continue to provide. I know he'll continue to bless Tyler," said Tyler's grandmother.
A fund has been set up to help pay for Werner's funeral expenses. Find more details here: http://www.gofundme.com/5xqcjw ( http://bit.ly/1cjnt7z ).
