Julio Ceaser Gonzalez – Hernandez: Suspect in armed kidnapping arrested, Greenacres police say

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Greenacres police say they found the man suspected of forcing a woman into his car at gunpoint.

They identified him as Julio Ceaser Gonzalez – Hernandez and say they arrested him at his residence without incident.

Police say that on April 26th at 6:25 a-m a 19-year-old woman was walking along 10th Avenue North when a man driving a dark-colored car, thought to be a Nissan Altima, approached.

Officers say that the man first offered her a ride and then displayed a small handgun and ordered the victim into the car.

“I tried to push him, to kick him, I was so scared because he had the gun,” she said.

Police say he then began driving around and grabbed her at one point. “He took me to a park and he touched me and kissed me and I opened the door and kicked the door and I screamed,” the victim said.

The car stopped at Lakewood Road and Beverly Drive and the victim was able to escape.

Police say Gonzalez-Hernandez faces charges of Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, False Imprisonment and Battery.
