Greenacres kidnapping: Man says 3 men abducted him, stole his rent money, and left him at bus stop

GREENACRES, Fla. - Police are asking for the public's help after a man said he was kidnapped and had his rent money stolen on Friday, March 1st.

The Greenacres Department of Public Safety says the victim was walking back to his vehicle at the River Bridge Plaza Shopping Center, 6790 Forest Hill Blvd when he saw a minivan driving through the parking lot.

The victim says the van was a 1999 or 2000 gold Toyota with tinted windows, standard wheels, and a small scoop over the rear windshield.

Authorities say the van was driven by a man who stopped the van in front of the victim.

According to police, two other men got out of the van and forced the victim into the van where they took the victim's rent money.

The victim says he was then driven to the bus stop located south of Lake Worth Road and Jog Road where he was released.

Police say the victim was not injured and no weapons were used.

They say one suspect was wearing a blue cap, a t-shirt, long pants, and tennis shoes.

The driver of the van was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, had a gold tooth and short curly hair.

The passenger was wearing blue jean shorts, a blue horizontal striped t-shirt, tennis shoes, and had short curly hair.
