Greenacres carjacking: Two men sought in connection with a carjacking at a Cumberland Farms store

A 79-year-old man was carjacked outside of a Cumberland Farms gas station in the 5200 block of 10th Avenue, North on Thursday, the Greenacres Department of Public Safety said.

Police said two men entered the s vehicle and struck Anibal Velez in the face with a gun.

The men then drove Velez to a Bank of America in the 3700 block of South Military Trail and forced him to withdraw hundreds of dollars from an ATM, police said.

"I never got out of the car. I felt a guy on the right jumping into my car. And, he had a pistol in his hand. "Before could say anything, he slapped me with a pistol across my mouth," Velez said.
