GREENACRES, Fla. - Two children were taken to the hospital Friday after a wreck involving a sport-utility vehicle and a school bus in Greenacres.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Lake Worth Road and 57th Avenue.  All roads are back open after earlier closures.

One child, who was in the SUV, was taken to Delray Community Hospital by Trauma Hawk for precautionary reasons, according to Lt. Brady Myers with the Greenacres Department of Safety.

A second child, who was on the school bus, was taken to Palms West Hospital.

Neither child had life-threatening injuries, said Myers.
