Bomb scare leads to Walmart evacuation

GREENACRES, Fla. - A bomb threat at the Walmart in Greenacres prompted customers and employees to evacuate the store on Thursday night.

The incident was reported just before 8 p.m. at the Walmart located at Forest Hill Boulevard and Jog Road.

Captain Abbananto from Greenacres police said, store employees received an anonymous threat by phone.

Nothing was found after the store was searched by employees and the K-9 unit of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office,  Abbananto said.

No suspect has been identified.

Police said it was unlikely that customers would be allowed back in the store for several hours.
