FCAT, 'Happy' video: Palm Beach County teacher creates video to stimulate student interest in test

Taking the Florida's Comprehensive Assessment Test is not something that makes students and teachers "happy", but one Palm Beach County teacher is hoping a music video will change that!

Teacher Nesty Nunez, with the help of his friends, put together a parody video of Pharrell  Williams' hit "Happy" with the intentions of getting students excited about the FCAT.

The song says "clap along if you know math and reading -- if you're ready to pass the test and if you're confident."

Nunez, a 5th grade teacher at North Grade Elementary School in Lake Worth, has produced a number of videos to help his students learn and achieve their goals.

The FCAT began in 1998 as part of Florida's overall plan to increase student achievement by implementing higher standards.
