One person died in a two-vehicle wreck around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Woolbright and Hagen Ranch roads.
A Chevrolet S10, driven by Kenneth Anderson, 73, of Wellington was heading south on Hagen Ranch Road while a Ford Expedition was traveling south on Hagen Ranch behind the S10.
PBSO said the S10 slowed to a stop at the intersection the Expedition did not slow down.
This caused a violent collision between the front of the Expedition and the rear of the S10.
Both vehicles traveled south through the intersection.
Anderson died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.
The driver of the Expedition was not hurt.
