Driver hits unmarked sheriff's car, flees along with passenger

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A vehicle struck the back of  an unmarked sheriff’s office vehicle as it was parked at a stop light, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision happened Wednesday afternoon at 45th Street and Haverhill Road.

The deputy turned on his lights after impact which apparently scared the driver and the driver's passenger.

They ran off and dropped some weapons, according to the sheriff’s office which says two guns were recovered.
