Palm Beach Fire Rescue said a child had to be airlifted to an area hospital after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning.
Capt. Albert Borroto said the incident happened at 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Military Trail and 10th Avenue North. When crews arrived, the child was lying in the road.
The area where this happened is near John I. Leonard High School.
The child's condition has not been released.
No other details were immediately available.
