Fire crews and deputies are on the scene of a warehouse in suburban West Palm Beach where there is a strong stench.
SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A road in suburban West Palm Beach was shut for hours as the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue investigated a suspicious fire.
When fire rescue crews responded to the 1600 block of Donna Road they discovered the blaze was out.
However, an investigator requested assistance from the bomb squad because of possible hazardous materials inside.
At one point the street was filled with a number of fire trucks, the special operations unit, as well as several FPL crews and at least a dozen deputy vehicles.
Fire crews and deputies were focusing their attention on a warehouse building which had a strong stench coming from it.
Investigators did not identify the business or what the building housed. They said there were no hazardous materials inside but said the fire is suspicious.
