The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a bicyclist was struck and killed by a truck Sunday night at the intersection of Gun Club and Jog roads.
The crash happened at 8 p.m.
According to a PBSO report, the bicyclist was going west and attempted to cross the intersection from the northeast to the northwest corner using the pedestrian crosswalk.
At the same time, a 2003 Ford F-150 was heading north on Jog Road near the intersection of Gun Club Road.
The bicyclist, whose name has not been released, attempted to cross the northbound lanes of Jog Road and entered the inside lane, directly in the path of the truck, said the PBSO report.
The victim was hit by the F-150 and pronounced dead at the scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The driver of the F-150 was not hurt.
