Attempted kidnapping, sexual battery suspect in Palm Springs sought

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies are searching for a man with a droopy right eye who is suspected of attacking a woman at a bus stop on Forest Hill Boulevard in Palm Springs.

The alleged victim said she was confused over bus routes and was attempting to call a relative when a man walked up to her and asked her if she needed a ride.

She said no. When he asked her again and she refused a second time she said he took her to the ground and groped her.

A person driving by stopped to help and began fighting the attacker. The suspect ran to a parked SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Expedition with beige leather interior, and escaped.

Police described the man as in his late twenties to early thirties, approximately 6’ 02” tall, wearing khaki long pants and a neon yellow V neck landscape shirt, and brown work boots. They say he has a droopy right eye with a white spot on his eyeball which may have been caused by a past injury or an infection.
