Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney ready on the eve of the Florida GOP primary

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Nearly two million Florida Republicans are expected to cast ballots Tuesday in the Florida GOP primary.

It's an exciting time of year for Florida Republicans. The stakes are high and Florida could be the state that decides which candidate will take on President Obama in November.

"I know they think Romney's going to be the winner, and he may well be, but think every vote does count," says voter Bob Webster.

And he's right every vote Tuesday will be counted and Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher says thanks to many changes since she took office, she has no doubt votes will be counted accurately.

"We've changed our poll workers training and we have some audits implemented to make sure we have accurate results at the end of the day," Bucher says.

The ballots will be counted at the warehouse in Riviera Beach; voters will be able to vote until 7 o'clock at polls around the county.

In Martin County, Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Davis says they've been preparing for months and are geared up to go.

"It is months and months of prep to make sure you have security in place and yet you're transparent in the process."

This year voting will be slightly different in Martin County. "We have reduced precincts to 46 to 41," says Davis

Palm Beach County has a few difference too when it comes to the number of absentee votes compared to 4 years ago.

"We're a little down, the total numbers we've mailed out is over 10,200 and the number of returns we received back is about 5,700 to date," says Bucher.

Bucher is expecting that number to go up as people continue to turn in absentee ballots.

Some voters say despite what the polls say today, Tuesday's outcome could differ.

"I just think Rick Santorum had the most to say he may not win Florida but we're going to put our vote to him," says Webster.

The deadline to turn in your absentee ballots at polling locations in Palm Beach County is 5 p.m. Tuesday. However you have until 7 p.m. to turn it into the main office on gun club and military.
