Michelle Obama campaigning on President Barack Obama's behalf in Miami and Orlando

First Lady Michelle Obama will be in Miami and Orlando on Tuesday, campaigning on her husband's behalf.

Obama will speak to grassroots supporters and volunteers about what's at stake in this election for Floridians, encourage supporters to register to vote and volunteer for the campaign.

In April, Obama – who has been playing a growing role in her husband's re-election campaign – was in Naples to attend a fundraiser and meet with volunteers from her husband's campaign.

In early April, Obama gave a speech to high school girls and their families at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville.

The visit was part of a two-day, four-state swing marking the first anniversary of the "Joining Forces" effort Obama and Jill Biden launched last year to "recognize, honor and serve military families."

Obama also stopped in Florida to celebrate the anniversary of another one of her initiatives back in February.

The first lady was in Orlando on Feb. 11 as part of a three-day national tour marking the second anniversary of her "Let's Move!" initiative to fight childhood obesity. She also stopped in Tampa, Sarasota and Palm Beach on Jan. 26 for fundraisers and a public event.
