Election 2012 results: Florida presidential votes Hispanic Cuban Jewish battleground

An NBC News analysis shows that the majority of Hispanic, Cuban-American and Jewish voters in Florida selected Barack Obama.

A demographic voting breakdown by the NBC News Political team shows Mitt Romney's attempt to capture Jewish voters did not go as far as the republican presidential candidate had hoped. Romney picked up only 30% of the statewide vote, while President Obama won 66% of that critical voting population.

When it came to Hispanic voters, 60% chose the President while 29% cast their ballots for the former Massachusetts governor.

But Mitt Romney came far closer with Cuban American voters, picking up 47% of their vote, while President Obama grabbed 49%.
