NEW YORK (CNN) -- Seven people were injured Tuesday when two double decker tour buses collided in Manhattan's Times Square, fire officials said.
A light pole appeared to have been toppled on a normally packed sidewalk next to the TKTS booth at 47th Street and Seventh Avenue.
The Fire Department could not confirm the extent of the injuries at this time.
Times Square is a popular launching spot for the ubiquitous double-decker buses which take tourists around Manhattan.
