Stevie Wonder: George Zimmerman verdict outrages performer

Avoiding Fla until Stand Your Ground law abolished

Latest developments related to the George Zimmerman verdict

Steve Wonder is expressing outrage over the acquittal of George Zimmerman.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the singer announced during a performance in Quebec Sunday that he will not perform in Florida again until the controversial "Stand Your Ground" law is abolished.

He also said he would not perform in any other state or part of the world that recognizes the law.

Nearly two dozen U-S states have some version of a Stand Your Ground law.

Protests have broken out in several cities since a jury found Zimmerman "not guilty" Saturday in the death of Trayvon Martin.
