CUDAHY, Wis. (AP) -- Police in Wisconsin have evacuated homes in a Milwaukee suburb northeast of the Sikh temple where an unknown gunman killed six Sunday morning.
The evacuations are in Cudahy, which is about six miles from the temple in Oak Creek.
Police have roped off a neighborhood with a mix of duplexes and single-family homes, as well as one house.
FBI agents are there with an armored truck, a trailer and other vehicles.
Oak Creek Police Chief John Edwards says the case is being treated as a domestic terrorism case and the FBI is better equipped to handle that.

A spokeswoman for a Milwaukee hospital says doctors there are treating three victims of a shooting at a Sikh temple south of the city. All three victims are men; all in critical condition.
OAK CREEK, Wis. (AP) -- A police dispatcher in Wisconsin says there has been a shooting at a Sikh temple outside of Milwaukee.
Oak Creek Police Department dispatcher Stephanie Uljanec says the shooting took place Sunday morning at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin but she doesn't know how many people are shot or if there are fatalities.
Oak Creek is south of Milwaukee along Lake Michigan.
Fran McLaughlin, spokeswoman for the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, says a call came in at 10:26 a.m. She says officers are at the scene but she has no other information to report.
