RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- It's moving day for a newlywed mentally disabled couple who launched a court fight to be able to live together.
Paul and Have Forziano moved into a new apartment Monday in a group home for the mentally disabled in Riverhead, on Long Island.
The couple married in April. They had been living in separate group homes.
Both those homes said they would not allow the couple to live together.
A third agency that runs the Riverhead group home had recently agreed to let the couple live at its facility.
The couple's attorney says their civil rights lawsuit seeking to force all group homes to allow married couples to live together will proceed. Attorney Martin Coleman says his clients want to make sure others don't have the same trouble.
