(KTEN) Oklahoma emergency responders took a break from riding in their police cars and fire trucks Tuesday to ride donkeys, and it was all for a good cause.
As a way to raise money for the Red River Area 13 Special Olympics, four different departments participated in a donkey basketball tournament in Bryan County.
Pitted against each other were the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the Durant Police Department, the Durant Fire Department and the Bryan County Sheriff's Office.
"You have to be on the donkey to actually shoot the basketball and if you're off the donkey you can't shoot the ball," Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Scott King said.
