Natalie Khawam, Jill Kelley's sister, Gloria Allred news conference: Allred sheds new details

Attorney Gloria Allred held a news conference Tuesday afternoon with her client Natalie Khawam -- Jill Kelley's twin sister -- to explain the truth about who Khawam really is.

Allred also held the conference to correct misconceptions about Khawam , explain her course of action and comment on her relationship with former General David Petraeus and his wife Holly.

Jill Kelley is the woman who allegedly received threatening emails from Paula Broadwell and flagged the emails to the FBI.

Khawam got emotional as she spoke about Kelley for the first time publicly since the Petraeus scandal.

Kelley is the woman who reported threatening e-mails that led the F-B-I to Petraeus's mistress.

Her twin, Natalie, got mixed up in the story, when it came out that Petraeus had written a letter of support for her during her custody battle.

"My sister Jill and I aren't just twins, we're best friends.  Literally inseparable," she said.

She added, "Jill is the kindest, most generous person I know."

Khawam also said, "Jill has loved and supported me through the years, and I plan to love and support her unconditionally."

Khawam did not answer any questions. But Allred said she just knows the Petraeus family through social events.

And she would not comment on questions about the scandal.
