For Americans, 40 years old may or may not be the new 30. But the median age for the country continued to creep toward the older age.
The median age for U.S. residents went up from 37.5 to 37.6 from 2012 to 2013, according to U.S. Census data released today.
Utah checked in as the youngest state with a median age of 30.2 years old, while Maine had the oldest population with a median age of 43.9 years old.
