A military investigation has determined human error was to blame for a March mortar explosion that killed seven U.S. Marines in Nevada.
An explosion during a Marine Corps training exercise at Hawthorne Army Depot in western Nevada injured a "couple" of people, an official at the facility said early Tuesday.
The official, Russ Collier, did not provide an exact number.
Very little was immediately known about what caused the explosion.
Lt. Col. Craig Short, Hawthorne's deputy commander, said there was some sort of traffic accident at the facility around 10 p.m. PT.
