Felix Baumgartner Red Bull Stratos jump video: Jumper speaks to Savannah Guthrie on Today Show

Felix Baumgartner appeared exclusively on the Today Show Monday. He talked about jumping 128 24 miles, above the Earth.

He said, ... "I had an incredible view when I was standing on top of the world but at the same time, you realize everything around is hostile. and I thought, I have the privilege to stand here and nobody else was there before. and when you step off, you're on the way."

Asked if he can believe what he did, he said, "it is still hard to understand what happened. but slowly, it's coming."

He also said he is officially retired from the daredevil business. "I had enough. I did it all.  had enough. time to move on."

Nat Geo plans a special on the jump from space in November.
