A GPS satellite, onboard a Delta IV rocket, is scheduled to be launched into space Thursday evening on a mission for the US Air Force.
Blastoff will be directed by United Launch Alliance from Cape Canaveral.
It is scheduled to launch at 8:40 p.m.
The launch window is 19 minutes.
According to ULA, the next generation GPS satellite will offer greater accuracy, increased signals and enhanced performance for users.
