Some stunning police dash-cam video was caught on camera in Saginaw, Mich.

A recent high-speed police car and foot chase ended with a suspect and a state trooper tumbling from an overpass on Interstate 675.

They fell about 30 feet onto a grassy area but survived but were hospitalized.

The trooper, who suffered a back injury, has been released and is on paid leave as he recovers at home.

The suspect, who broke a leg and wrist, was on probation for an alcohol offense. He's now jailed for violating his probation.

So how did this happen?

Police say perhaps the trooper was so focused on getting the suspect he didn't realize where he was on the overpass.
