SOUTHFIELD, Mich., (WXYZ) - Southfield Police say a 12-year-old boy broke into a Bank of America early Friday morning.
Lieutenant Nick Loussia says police received a call from bank security at the Bank of America branch on the 2500 block of Greenfield around 2:55 a.m. Friday.
When they arrived on the scene they discovered a 12-year-old boy inside the bank with his pockets full of assorted rolled coins and snacks.
The suspect broke into the bank by ramming his bicycle through a window.
He was taken into custody and his parents were called to the station.
Police are conducting an investigation.
