Portable defibrillator saves teen's life

Claire Dunlap is really lucky that there was an automated external defibrillator (AED) nearby. This incident highlights the importance of having AEDs in schools and having staff trained in the use of an AED. As this article notes, the cost of training and the units is worth it even if the life of one child is saved! Thank Goodness for People like Cheryl and Ray Laloo who helped get the State Legislation in place for Florida schools so that lives like Clair Dunlaps can be saved. Bless you all. Taffi Abt
