WEST PALM BEACH, FL--State Representative Priscilla Taylor confirms to NewsChannel 5 she will be filling the Palm Beach County commission seat vacated by Addie Greene.

Governor Crist appointed Taylor to the position.

Greene stepped down in April on advice from her doctors to cut down on stress.

Last month Taylor said, if appointed, she'd work hard on the local economy and ways to attract businesses and jobs to Palm Beach County.

Just last week Taylor announced her intention to officially run for the seat in 2010.

She will be sworn in next week.
