BOYNTON BEACH, FL – The family of a woman missing for two weeks is concerned they will never see their daughter.
Thirty-eight year old Tina Lurie went missing two weeks ago. Boynton Beach police have interviewed her boyfriend, Brian Williamson, several times and consider him a person of interest. It is considered a missing persons case.
Alan and Helen Lurie say there are too many inconsistencies. They say Williamson told them on a Tuesday that Tina disappeared two days prior. He said she went across the street with five dollars to Target.
Detectives checked the surveillance video from Target, the parking lot and other stores Tina was not on them.
Alan Lurie says when he saw her pocketbook, wallet and cell phone on the table, “It didn’t make sense.”
The Lurie’s say their daughter is bipolar and has battled alcoholism since her twenties.
Tina and Williamson met in rehab in the fall. They moved in together in January. Neighbors describe the couple as noisy and they were often screaming. The Lurie’s say they knew of no trouble between the couple.
The Lurie’s are raising Tina’s young son. They say she always calls. Helen says even in her daughter’s lowest moments, she still called. Helen says at this point, “I can only think the worst.”
