PALM BEACH COUNTY,FL--The feds are now looking into accusations that a local charity knew about the Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme.
The Picower Foundation gave millions to non-profit health and service organizations. Now Jeffery Picower is now one of eight Madoff investors and associates under the microscope.
Picower and the foundation are also named in a lawsuit filed by trustees of the Madoff estate, who are trying to recover funds on behalf of investors.
